Multiple Lifetime Guarantee
Made to last a lifetime, and then some
The guarantee follows the toy rather than the buyer, so it is honoured for every owner, whether the piece was bought, given or handed down.
-
For the life of the toy
Cracks, splits and breaks caused by structural failure are restored or replaced free of charge.
-
Faults and hardware
Faults in joints, engraving or finish are covered, as are stylus tips and fittings.
-
Lost pieces replaced
A photograph of the set showing the gap is all we need.
-
Whoever owns it
The guarantee follows the toy, whether it was bought, given or handed down.
-
No registration or receipts
We ask only for honesty and goodwill.
-
Well-loved pieces restored
Wear is not covered, but we offer restoration at a reasonable charge and replacement pieces free.
-
Claims arranged online
With your order number and postcode, a claim takes a couple of minutes.
-
A reply within two to three working days
We will review your claim and email you our assessment.
How to make a claim
Claims are made through our claim page in a few simple steps.
-
Find your order
Enter your order number and the postcode it was delivered to. If the piece was a gift, came to you second-hand, was ordered before our website moved to Shopify, or you have since moved house, the claim page will ask you to contact us, and we will gladly help.
-
Choose the piece
Select the item, or items, that need our attention.
-
Tell us what has happened
Describe the issue and add up to five photographs. Close-up photographs are most helpful; for a lost piece, a photograph of the set showing the gap is all we need.
-
We reply within two to three working days
We will review your photographs and email you our assessment. Where a claim is approved, we will arrange a free restoration or replacement, and should we need to see the piece, we will send you a free return label.
All you will need is your order number, the postcode it was delivered to, and a photograph.

Our promise
At Oak & Sprout we craft every piece to last a lifetime, and then some, and we stand behind it with our Multiple Lifetime Guarantee. Should your piece ever fail to perform to your satisfaction, we will restore or replace it, free of charge.
This promise is our way of honouring the trust you place in us, and the tradition of heirloom-quality toys that are cherished and passed down.
What is covered
- Cracks, splits or breaks caused by structural failure
- Faults in joints, engraving or finish
- Hardware, such as stylus tips and fittings
- Lost pieces
Lost pieces
Should a piece go missing, we will send a replacement free of charge. You are welcome to start a claim with a photograph, or simply to email us; we do not need proof of purchase. A photograph of the set showing the gap is all we need, and we will work out which piece it is.
Whether it is a stylus tip worn smooth from tracing or a shape lost under the sofa, we will always do our best to help bring it back to life.
Well-loved pieces
Like most makers, we do not cover general wear and tear under our guarantee, but neither do we believe in waste. If your piece has been well used and simply needs a little care, we are happy to offer restoration at a reasonable charge, and replacement pieces free of charge. We would always rather repair than replace, so that the story can continue.
Please email us at jennifer@oakandsprout.live, let us know what has happened, and we will guide you through the options.
Who is covered
The guarantee follows the toy, not the buyer. Whether you bought it, were given it or it was handed down to you, it is covered, even if it was bought for your mother twenty years ago.
Many of our toys are given to loved ones or passed between generations. If you are writing to us as a gift recipient or a second-generation owner, we will always treat your request with care and consideration. We do not ask for registration or receipts, only honesty and goodwill. Our aim is to be fair, thoughtful and responsible, and we trust our customers to be likewise.
How to make a claim
The quickest way is our claim page at support.oakandsprout.live/guarantee. Enter your order number and delivery postcode, select the affected item and tell us what has happened, adding photographs of the issue. We answer claims within two to three working days.
If you do not have an order number, for instance for a gift, a second-hand piece, an order placed before our website moved to Shopify, or after a change of address, the claim page will direct you to contact us, and we will gladly help.
If you are unsure, or your situation does not fit any of the above, please email jennifer@oakandsprout.live and we will look after it personally. We will respond promptly and guide you through the next steps. In some cases, we may ask for the piece to be returned to us for assessment or repair.
Repairing it yourself
Should you prefer to repair a piece yourself, you are very welcome to; DIY repairs do not void our Multiple Lifetime Guarantee. Our repair and DIY tutorials are coming soon.
We are always here to help
This is more than a guarantee. It reflects our belief that quality should last, and that good things should be shared. If you have any questions, please email jennifer@oakandsprout.live and we will be glad to help.
